Well I can't believe this day is here. The 3rd Hartwick is preparing for her senior year. I remember this young lady when she was just in elementary school. Man did she drive me crazy. Some things never change, LOL... Seriously this young girl has grown up to be a beautiful and vivacous young woman. I am so proud of her. I had the chance to photograph her 2 older brothers Landon & Lawson as well. This family has been a pleasure and a blessing to work with. I guess the next Hartwick event I'll be photographing will be engagement pics but hopefully not anytime soon... Hope you enjoy the preview.

I had a wonderful time visiting my family in Tulsa, OK this past weekend. I especially enjoyed spending time with my 1 yr. old niece Emmy Marie. She is a pistol to say the least. One of her favorite places to sit and play is in front of her big picture window in her living room. She can see everything from that one spot. Dogs playing in the yard, people driving up to visit, big sister playing with friends in the front yard and of course all the pretty birds. We were even lucky enough to see a turtle walking past heading to the pond in the back. Turtles are her favorite so you can only imagine her excitement, also known as screaming, that we all endured. I had to capture a couple of images of this beautiful site so we can cherish them forever. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do...

Yesterday Pearl and I took a trip to Forney America to the newly remodeled Forney Animal Clinic. The employees asked Daisy Pearl Photography to help come up with ideas to decorate their new waiting room. I photographed all the employees canine and feline children to be displayed on the walls and enjoyed every workday by their proud parents and clients alike. Below are just a few of my favorites.

I had the pleasure of photographing two beautiful one year olds this morning. They just so happen to be the children of 2 friends I went to high school with centuries ago. It's crazy how time flies. Well the old saying "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree" is so true with these little ones. Gorgeous parents, gorgeous babies. This past Monday I drove to Waxahachie to meet the 2 sweetest people, Carrie and Angie. They just moved to Texas from Memphis, TN. Carrie is one of the coolest parents I've ever worked with. She let Angie and me roam all over downtown crawling into dirty alleys and everything. Angie also brought along her new baby girl Izzy. Saturday I had the opportunity to shoot one of my kindergarten students Miss K. Layne. She is absolutely adorable and not at all shy in front of the camera. Her mom told me she caught a couple of episodes of America's Next Top Model to get ready for her shoot. Lord help us all. I love this little stinker so much and I hope that she along with her family love the preview of "their own" America's Next Top Model...
